Kilbride Family Fun Day, 27 August 2023

The rain, thankfully, stayed away for this annual community event. All ages had the chance, to not only explore the ancient ruins of Kilbride Kirk, but to partake in the plethora of activities on offer.

Children and adults alike enjoyed story telling, face painting, Lego building, and fantastic traditional music.

There were plenty of refreshments available too, including hot dogs, candy floss, bags of mixed sweeties and a variety of beverages. Definitely appreciated, by the more energetic visitors, who had an attempt at football.

Young and not so young had an enjoyable experience.

A great day out was had by all, and community ties were further strengthened in this ancient place. The Friends of Kilbride would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support.
